The Tax Credit Authorization Form through a third-party provider collects information from individuals who wish to donate a portion of their state taxes to our organization. This form does not process tax payments, but gathers the necessary details for our team to be able to complete and submit the required documentation on behalf of the donor. 

For certain events and fundraising activities, Friends of Parkgate uses BetterWorld, a third-party registration and fundraising platform. When you sign up through BetterWorld, the platform collects the information you provide, such as your name, contact details, and payment information. All payments made via BetterWorld are securely processed by Stripe, a trusted online payment processor. Stripe manages your credit or debit card information and processes transactions on our behalf. We do not store or have access to your full payment information. The use of your information by Stripe and BetterWorld is governed by their respective privacy policies. By registering for our events, you consent to the collection and use of your information by BetterWorld and Stripe as outlined above.

Our strategic partners are used strictly for mission-aligned purposes and are under agreements that require them to protect your information and not use it for unrelated activities.

To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.

Friends of Parkgate retains donor and user information indefinitely, unless a request is made to delete such information.
