First Time Parenting Class
Parkgate partners with One By One Ministries. You will mentor new and expectant mothers by making monthly mentoring visits, using One by One curriculum and resources designed to encourage and educate parents about the needs of their babies, and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

First Time Parenting Class
Our Parenting Class is offered to first time moms. It educates and encourages moms in preparing for the incredible gift of raising the next generation. Topics include labor and delivery, bringing baby home, getting baby on a schedule as well as parenting tips.
Volunteer opportunity:
At our last class meeting, we always throw a baby shower for the parents. We are always looking for people to help aid in providing for the baby shower.

Abortion Recovery Mentor
Our Baby’s First Year class equips moms with practical tips for their baby's first year, covering topics like newborn sickness, infant CPR, safe sleep habits, and tips for getting babies to sleep. Along the way, we share the love of Jesus through compassionate care and meaningful connection.
Volunteer Opportunity:
We're seeking volunteers to lead a class (morning or evening) for 6-8 weeks - just 1 hour each week. Curriculum is provided, so you won't be on your own!
We're also seeking co-volunteers to come alongside and offer support - no teaching required, just your kind presence.

Abortion Recovery Mentor
Our abortion recovery program walks alongside women who are carrying the weight of past abortions through godly mentors who provide compassionate support. Our goal is to help them find peace, forgiveness, and the hope of a new beginning through Christ’s love.
Volunteer Opportunity:
We're seeking compassionate, godly women to volunteer as one-on-one mentors to provide guidance, support, and a safe, non-judgmental space for healing. Your role will provide hope and encourage her in finding peace and forgiveness through the love of Jesus.

Fatherhood Mentor
Our Fatherhood Ministry helps connect fathers with godly mentors that will offer encouragement, guidance, and support as the dads grow into strong, loving leaders. Most importantly, they share the hope of Jesus and model what it means to lead their families with faith and purpose. Fathers who regularly commit to the program will also receive rewards to help support their families.
Volunteer Opportunity:
We are seeking godly men to volunteer as one-on-one mentors to walk with a father on his journey. Your mentorship can make a lasting difference in his life and his family.

We’ve begun connecting with college students by setting up informational tables on college campuses and partnering with student counseling offices by leaving marketing materials behind. These simple, intentional efforts are opening doors to meaningful conversations and connections. They allow us to raise awareness about our free services and support.

Empower Classes
Empower is an interactive, abstinence-based class for students in grades 7-12, promoting the delay of sex as the best and healthiest choice. Our evidence-based curricula teaches students essential life skills while equipping them to avoid at-risk behaviors such as drug and alcohol usage and teen sexual activity. All of our lessons are medically accurate and culturally relevant.
